A Thinking Woman Sleeps With Monsters

I'm 25 and currently finishing up my Masters in Social Work. I aim to please...because of that, I am a hard worker. I intern, work, and go to school. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the verge of a breakdown.

I love my friends, family, boyfriend, and kitty. I enjoy reading, writing, music, and creating. No matter how busy I am, there will never be a period in my life where I am not working on a book -- even if I can only manage to read three pages a night.

I struggle with major depressive disorder, anorexia, self-injury, anxiety...and the struggle continues on. I realize that I will be battling this the rest of my life.

I just needed a place to rest my head.
